The climatic balance of the production process of the delignified material is comparable to that of paper. In comparison to glass fibre production, the energy input to be used is many times smaller.

By recovering the lignin, which is converted into fuel, the solvent mixture can be reused.

With a sustainable choice of technology and matrix (adhesive), the material is reusable and compostable.
